Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Shannon Horbatiuk moved to Ontario whilst in elementary school. This enabled her to take courses at the Computer Technology Institute, where she was able to get her first taste of web design as well as being able to play with programs such as 3D Studio Max and Poser for the first time.
She attended Mayfield Secondary School where she was enrolled in the Regional Arts program, specializing in Visual Arts. She also attended Centauri Summer Arts Camp where Jonathan Robbins and Yonah Lewis introduced her to the basics of the film industry. Shannon went on to study Film and Television Production at Humber College where she specialized in Advanced Visual Effects, Editing and Production Management and graduated with honours.
Now, after working her way up from server to Event Co-Ordinator at a banquet hall, she decided to return to her first love: film. Shannon is coming back in full force as Co-Creator and Co-Producer of a web series as well as working on several projects on the side.
